Screen Sharing FAQs
Still have a few questions? Check out some of the more commonly asked questions below.
Who’s able to end a screen share?
For the host, you’ll have the option to both end your own screen share or the screen share of a Participant.
For a Participant sharing their screen, you’ll only be able to end your own screen share.
Who’s allowed to control a screen share?
We’re all about options at UberConference. That’s why when it comes to controlling a screen share, we leave it up to you.
As part of your Conference Settings, you can decide whether only the Organizer can control the screen share or if your Participants can join in, too (sharing is caring after all).
Are my Participants going to need an UberConference account to view/share?
Nope. All your Participants need to do is join your call. Just another way we’re making conferences easier.
Are there specific browsers you require?
For the host sharing their screen, you’ll need to use Google Chrome.
However, for your Participants, they have the option to select a number of different browsers like Safari, Internet Explorer, or Firefox.
For the best video/audio quality, we’d suggest sticking with Chrome as a Participant, too.
