Dialpad Boosts Channel Sales Efforts Expanding Dedicated Team

New Team Members to Oversee Additional VARs and Agents

San Francisco, CA -- February 1, 2018 --Dialpad, the pure-cloud business communications provider whose mission is to “Kill the Desk Phone,” is taking the channel by storm by creating a channel sales team led by Mike Kane, Vice President of Worldwide Channel Sales, and hiring new channel managers and business development representatives in Austin and San Francisco. Together the team will oversee new and existing sales partners including Sprint and Softbank, as well as a series of new Value Added Resellers (VARs) and Master Agents.

“2017 was a record year that saw us add top talent to our enterprise sales team and grow our direct mid-market and enterprise customer base,” said Richard Rivera, Dialpad’s Chief Revenue Officer. “In 2018 we’re hyper-focused on adding National Solutions Providers and VARs who are well equipped to expand our indirect selling efforts, as their customers rely on them to source, supply and support the technology services they deploy.”

For Kane, the additional staff means more support for Sprint, Softbank and the new channel partners within Dialpad’s global ecosystem.

“We couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity ahead. Through the Channel Program, we’re enabling current and future partners to bring our disruptive, next-generation solutions to their customers,” said Mike Kane. “Over the coming weeks we will add VARs in both the US and Canada, which will put Dialpad’s all-cloud business communications services in front of thousands of companies and add interesting partners to our new era approach to selling.”

Joining Kane’s team as Channel Managers are Kaitlin Boughton and Jeremy Dunegan. Broughton is based in San Francisco and covering Dialpad’s Western Territory. She joins Dialpad from RingCentral where she managed the Northwest Channel Market. Dunegan, who is based in Austin and overseeing the Eastern Territory, joins Dialpad from Cisco Meraki, where he was a National Channel Manager working with dedicated partners like SHI, PCM and Zones.
